Build your box
Build the exact box, spec by spec.
Four layers make a box - structure, material, finish, insert. Pick one from each, and any combination runs on a single line under one team, so nothing is outsourced or lost between vendors. Custom only, MOQ 100, quoted on your spec.
Structures
The box itself. Pick it by how a buyer meets the product - on a shelf, in an unboxing video, or through a window before they buy.
- Tuck-end folding carton
- The workhorse. Ships flat, prints beautifully, lowest cost. Wholesale, salon, high-volume retail.
- Drawer / sleeve box
- Slide-out reveal built for unboxing content. E-commerce and mid-tier retail.
- Magnetic rigid box
- Wrapped greyboard with a magnetic snap. Highest perceived value. Flagship SKUs and gifting.
- PVC-window carton
- Die-cut window so buyers see the lashes before they buy. Product-led selling.
- Clamshell / PET
- Fully transparent, fast to pack. Kits and salon takeaway.
Materials
What the box is made of. This is the weight and the give a buyer feels in the hand before they read a single word on it.
- SBS / coated paperboard
- 250–350gsm. Default for folding cartons; takes print and foil cleanly.
- Rigid greyboard
- 1.5–2mm, paper-wrapped. The weight behind magnetic and drawer boxes.
- PET / PVC window film
- Clear film behind a die-cut window. PET for buyers avoiding PVC specifically.
Finishes
The surface. This is where a box stops looking printed and starts looking bought. Layer finishes together - foil on a soft-touch field, spot UV over matte.
- Matte / gloss / soft-touch lamination
- Matte photographs clean; gloss pops colour; soft-touch reads most premium.
- Foil (hot stamp)
- Metallic or pigment foil on logo and accents. Fastest premium signal.
- Spot UV
- Raised gloss on selected areas for contrast against a matte field.
- Emboss / deboss
- Raised or pressed texture, often paired with foil.
Inserts
What holds the lash. It protects the tray in transit and is the first thing a buyer sees the moment the box opens.
- Paperboard cradle
- Die-cut card. Cheapest, recyclable, standard for most SKUs.
- EVA / foam insert
- Cut-to-shape protection for multi-item kits.
- Molded pulp
- Recycled fibre - a middle ground on cost and sustainability.
- PET tray
- Clear rigid tray, pairs with window cartons to hold product in view.
The wrong board makes a good lash look cheap.
Board that flexes in the hand, a foil that photographs like plastic, a laminate that scuffs white on the courier belt - buyers price the lash down for all of it, before the box is even open.
So the order is always sample first. We run a physical sample of your exact spec and you approve the real box before anything goes to bulk. The plate and die are one disclosed setup cost, shown on the quote and never quietly added back on reorders. Paper and inks are export-compliant and REACH-aware, chosen to clear customs rather than fail at the border.
One box, one number.
Send the combination you want, or just your logo and where you sell, and we come back with a single quote for the whole build - box, print, finish, and insert together. No line-item guesswork, no separate plate invoice three months later. MOQ stays at 100.
